The Boletín Chileno de Herpetología (BCH) is the first and only scientific and naturalistic research publication output dedicated to the amphibians and reptiles of Chile. Since 2014 we have been publishing works on different aspects of the biology and natural history of these animals, both by professionals and researchers established in the academy such as university professors and consultants, as well as by dedicated amateurs who make very valuable observations for the knowledge of these animals. As of 2019, the Bulletin has formed an alliance with the Red Chilena de Herpetología (RECH), and we have expanded our editorial staff to include experts in different areas who handle the work we receive. The Bulletin is free to access, publish and distribute, and no income is generated from it. It is just a selfless effort for the expansion of our herpetological knowledge.
